Our History
Founded in Rossville, Georgia, HATponics started as a vision to address the interconnected challenges of world hunger, water scarcity, and the need for sustainable food production systems. Our journey began with the creation of the world’s first portable farm, a testament to our innovative spirit and dedication to sustainability. Since then, we have expanded our reach, implementing sustainable agriculture projects across four continents and making significant impacts in the communities we serve, especially within the educational systems of Georgia and Tennessee.
Our collaboration with ICA Farms has been pivotal, allowing us to extend our reach and deepen our impact through sustainable farming projects that not only provide food but also education, job skills, and disaster relief aid. Our work has taken us from the classrooms of Southeastern high schools to the fields of Brazil, Uganda, Kenya, Haiti, Qatar, and beyond, demonstrating the scalability and adaptability of our solutions.
We have partnered with organizations like YOCO and the Emerald Youth Foundation, embarked on projects in Swaziland, Africa, and the Dominican Republic, and tirelessly worked to prevent erosion, create jobs, and feed local populations while preserving habitats for endangered species. Our “boots on the ground” approach reflects our commitment to hands-on solutions and direct community engagement.
